My mother experienced Hospice of Frederick County care at the end of her
91 year life. She moved to Frederick and was diagnosed immediately with
stage 4 cancer. She had been healthy all her life and was prepared to
fight it. Hospice and especially the Kline House made her end of life
one of peace and wonderful memories. She was stubborn and her own person
to the end.
Why do I financially support Hospice? Mom would not come and live with my husband and me. She grew up living
with her sister and family and made the vow she would never live with
family. Mom's care through Hospice was excellent with nothing being
too much for the ladies to do for her.
When her life was over, there was no better way to honor my mother than
to financially support the place that made her last days a happy and peaceful
place to take her final breath.
